Or they've heard of them but live in hisec and never need them. Or they live in null and completely forget about them in spite of having trained biology and the "lessens/eliminates side effects" skills. *blushes*

3. I know I know ... tengu isnt best for lvl 3s :/ - Assistance Please! - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Geez, am I the only one who just used a SMALL shield booster when I ran Level 4's? It was more than sufficient. With the 680-ish speed while orbiting the warp-in beacon or gate to the next room or whatever you'd take maybe 7 points of damage per h...

4. Adventures of An Aspiring Planetologist - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Originally by: Abdiel Kavash I would really advice clustering the extractors a bit more, like you have in the first picture. It might not seem like it, but the PG and CPU you save from the links is significant. You should be easily able to...

5. PI - High sec VS Low sec - in Science and Industry [original thread]
When PI initially came out, Null was said to have "normal" concentrations, lowsec was half of null, and hisec was half of lowsec (meaning 1/4 of null). It's not hard and fast, since each planet is unique, but... in hisec on extraction planets I c...

6. Adventures of An Aspiring Planetologist - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Your storm planet setup looks nice, but the links on your gas planet... ouch! Chain them from extractor to extractor to minimize their length, upgrading as needed, like you did with your processors. Each extractor doesn't need a unique link. This...

Originally by: Tnas To make these slider bars as accurate as possible, you must train planetology and advanced planetology. These skills improve the 'accuracy' of the slider bar scanning. As I recall - you could get to rank 4 in both of th...

Other than dumb links due to this being one of my early setups (it's actually torn down now), this is an example of a typical P1 extraction/initial refine planet for me: My P4 production planet looks like this:

15. Can someone suggest a good fitting for a Zealot please? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
As others have said, Zealot is not really a good idea for ratting, as frigates can get under your guns pretty easily and you don't have drones. That said -- If you're looking at using a range tank, a sniper setup works well (cap stable with ever...

For me, I log in to EVE each night at a relatively specific time, so the 23 hour cycle works perfectly for me. With my schedule I can't guarantee that I can do the 5 hour resets 2-3 times a day to make it give me more than the 23 hour cycle. Beyo...

There are quite a few out there. I find this one to be particularly good. Even with the guide, you'll still need to do a bit of trial and error before you'll "get it" but it should at least get you started.
